The vessel is intended to operate a high-frequency inter-island police service in partially smooth waters from Brisbane to the Island of Moreton Bay. The highly efficient catamaran hull shape allows high speeds and low wash to be achieved in an environmentally sensitive area. The vessel is capable of transporting a variety police 4WD vehicles, quad bikes and trailers to and from beach landings in emergency situations.
