The vessel is designed for fast crew transfer operations in an area which experiences rough seas. With capacity for 52 passengers plus 2 crew, the 19-metre craft will be operated at a service speed of 22 knots with a full-load deadweight of 6.95 tonnes which is achieved at 70% MCR. The hull form features a high tunnel height and scantlings have been designed for patrol notation to accomodate the high significant wave heights.
