7.2m HDPE Dive Boat for Parks Victoria

Built by Tasmania’s PFG Group, this 7.2m dive vessel for Parks Victoria features HDPE construction with a striking red polyurethane inflatable D-tube collar to provide a rugged and versatile research platform.
Designed to meet NSCV 2 C requirements the vessel is able to transport up to six divers and their gear in addition to two crew. High stability provided by the RHIB style hull form permits safe diving operations even in high sea states, with diver access to the water facilitated by a pair of fold-down boarding ladders. A fixed bimini provides excellent sun-protection for those on board. A swinging davit installed in the stern allows for the launch and recovery of underwater ROVs and other survey equipment.
Powered by a pair of Yamaha 150hp outboards, the vessel can reach fully laden speeds in excess of 36 knots, and cruises comfortably at 20 knots with an in-built 220 litre fuel tank permitting long range operations as required.
