40m Passenger Ferry - Red Jet 6 & 7

This 40m Low-Wash passenger Catamaran was built for Red Funnel Group, the oldest operating ferry company in the world.

 

The vessel carries 277 passengers and 29 dwt at 38 knots with four MTU 10V 2000 @ 900kW, reducing fuel consumption significantly compared to her sister ship Red Jet 4. Using One2three's high-speed hull shape and lightweight construction techniques, contract speed was achieved at 85% MCR.
