71m Catamaran Passenger Ferry

A design joint-venture between One2three and Austal and constructed at Aulong Shipbuilding Co., this 71 metre vessel was, at her launch in May 2020, not only the largest aluminium ferry but the largest aluminium vessel of any type ever built in China.

This imposing 1200 passenger capacity ferry was designed for operation by Beihai Xinyi Shipping Co., operating between the town of Behia in southern China and the offshore holiday island of Weizhou in the Beibu Gulf. Passenger accommodation is split over three decks with a mixture of standard, business and VIP seating provided. The modern interior features all the latest passenger amenities, including high-quality ergonomic seats, a kiosk, luggage storage areas, cell phone charging stations and audio-visual entertainment.
